Schools in our city do not have receive enough money to fairly and adequately educate all of our students. Students, staff and board members from FACT Charter School will be going to City Hall on September 13, 2016 to join those supporting a lawsuit demanding fair school funding for all schools in Pennsylvania. This lawsuit asks the PA Supreme Court to declare that the current system of school funding is unconstitutional and to order the state legislature to change its unfair and inadequate funding of schools. Our school pledge says, “We work to build a fair and peaceful world.” FACTS is bringing students to observe, learn, and be part of standing up for a fair world. We invite family members to join us at City Hall.
